Edwin Diaz earned his 31st save of the year, pitching a perfect ninth inning in Seattle's 3-2 victory over the Athletics Friday night.
Fantasy Implications: Diaz has righted the ship from his mid-August difficulties, which likely can be attributed to back spasms that he was suffering at the time. Since then, the 23-year-old fireballer has yielded no runs in his last four appearances, and no hits in his last three, lowering his ERA from 3.67 to 3.45, and his WHIP from 1.22 to 1.17. Fantasy GM's should continue to roster the youngster with confidence.
