Christian Bergman was outrighted to Triple A Tacoma on Friday.
Fantasy Implications: Bergman was designated for assignment after pitching in relief against Baltimore Monday and Wednesday. The 29-year-old righty cleared waivers and was sent to Tacoma on an outright assignment. Bergman has a 4-5 record with a 5.00 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 33 strikeouts over 54 innings with the Mariners this season. He could return again next week when the Rainiers finish their season.
