Erasmo Ramirez imputed with loss

Erasmo Ramirez (5-5) was charged with the loss in Seattle's 4-0 defeat to the Orioles on Tuesday evening. He surrendered two runs on five hits, while walking two and striking out seven over six complete innings.

Fantasy Implications: Ramirez pitched well but was let down by Seattle's offense, which mustered only one hit on the night, a bunt single by Kyle Seager in the fourth inning. It was Ramirez' fourth consecutive quality start in as many tries, allowing only six earned runs in over 24 innings. In that span, he has lowered his ERA by almost 0.6 runs per game, from 5.10 to 4.52. The 27-year-old right hander also boasts of a fine 1.17 WHIP. His next scheduled start is Monday against the Astros at Safeco Field.
