Robinson Cano hits solo shot

Robinson Cano blasted a Keone Kela fastball into the center field stands for a solo-homer in the ninth inning, going 1-for-4 in Seattle's loss to the Rangers Thursday night.

Fantasy Implications: Cano is slashing .342/.375/.474 in his last nine games with one home run, six RBIs and five runs scored. He is currently in the midst of a modest six-game hitting streak. The veteran second baseman's 2017 production (.284 AVG, 22 HR, 93 RBI and 75 R) is approaching that of last year's (.296 AVG, 29 HR, 92 RBI and 94 R), giving fantasy owners an appropriate return on investment. Look for Cano to finish out the season on a high note.
