Pierre Garcon hauled in seven of 10 targets for 142 yards in the 49ers 41-39 loss to the Rams on Thursday night. He did not find the end zone.
Fantasy Implications: Garcon had a huge game, making several acrobatic catches throughout the night, while averaging 20.3 yards per reception. In the third quarter, he made a 19-yard toe-dragging reception on the sideline that was properly ruled a catch after official review. His longest grab came in the fourth quarter on an impressive 59-yard reception down the left sideline with about six minutes left to play. A solid chemistry seems to be developing between quarterback Brian Hoyer and the 31-year-old veteran receiver. Look for it to continue in Week 4 when the 49ers travel to Arizona to take on the Cardinals.
