Yonder Alonso crushes game winning home run

Yonder Alonso hit a solo shot that proved to be the game winning hit in Seattle's 2-1 victory over New York Friday night.

Alonso came in to pinch hit for Guillermo Heredia in the ninth inning and walked. He then came to bat in the top of the 11th frame with two outs, and deposited an Aroldis Chapman 100 mph into the center field sits for the game winner. It was the 30-year-old Cuban's 24th home run on the year.  He is now hitting .272/.368/.519, and he should continue to pay dividends for fantasy owners as the season winds down.
