Marco Gonzales pitches to a no-decision

Marco Gonzales allowed one earned-run on four hits while walking one and striking out none over 4.1 innings, in Seattle's loss to the Angels Friday night. He did not factor into the decision.

Fantasy Implications: Gonzalez, who the Mariners are hoping can be a piece of the puzzle to a depleted rotation, has been ineffective in his first two starts with the team. The 25-year-old left-hander has been unable to pitch beyond the fifth inning in either, chalking up a dismal 6.48 ERA, 1.56 WHIP, 5.4 K/9 and 2.2 HR/9. With his inability to miss bats (he induced just four swinging strikes in 64 pitches Friday), he is best left off all fantasy rosters at this time.
