Christian Bergman was called up by the Mariners from Triple-A Tacoma on Monday.
Fantasy Implications: Bergman takes the place of right-hander Dan Altavilla, who was optioned in a corresponding move to the Rainiers on Monday. This will be Bergman's third trek with the Mariners this season, where he has posted a 4-4 record with a 4.91 ERA and 1.34 WHIP over 11 innings. Fantasy owners would be safe to take a pass on the 29-year-old right-hander.
