Nick Bjugstad scored a goal and added an assist in the Panthers' 5-2 win over St. Louis on Thursday. He also blocked one shot and delivered one hit while finishing the evening with a plus-one rating.
Fantasy Implications: Bjugstad has now tallied four points (two goals and two assists) is plus-four in Florida's first three games to start the season. He is currently on the third-line with Jared Mccann and Connor Brickley. The 6-foot-6 forward presents a formidable presence in front of the net and is know for his quality finishing skills. He has missed 43 games in the past two seasons due to a variety of injuries and is hopeful to make up for lost time. Bjugstad's time on the ice has thus far been limited (12:38 TOI), but if he stays healthy a 40-plus point season is not out of realm of possibility.
