Austin Matthews scores again

Austin Matthews scored two goals, including the game winner in overtime, as Toronto beat Montreal 4-3 on Saturday. He also won nine of 13 face-offs (69%), and earned a plus-two rating.

Matthews has been nothing short of sensational to the start the 2017-18 campaign. He has scored at least a point in each of Toronto's first five games, compiling eight points (five goals, three assists) and earning a plus-seven rating.  The 20-year-old phenom possesses all the necessary skills to be one of the greats in the NHL. An 80-plus point season is not unrealistic, and by season's end he should be among the league's leaders in goals scored.
