Samuel Gaviglio was claimed off waivers by Kansas City on Friday.
Fantasy Implicationsr: Gaviglio was claimed from Seattle and added to the Royals 40-man roster. The 27-year-old righty posted a 3-5 record with a 4.62 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 40/21 K/BB over 62 1/3 innings for the season. He is expected to pitch in low-leverage situations in September.
