Yonder Alonso hit a solo shot in the fifth inning to help propel Seattle to a 7-6 comeback victory over Oakland Saturday night. He finished the game going 2-for-4 with one walk and one strike out.
Fantasy Implications: Since coming over to the Mariners in an August 6 trade with the Athletics, Alonso has hit a respectable .278/.358/.458 with three home runs and 10 RBIs in 22 games. He is on the strong side of a platoon at first base with Danny Valencia, and should be considered by fantasy owners in AL-only or deep leagues.
