Robinson Cano crushed a Jharel Cotton fastball into the right-center field seats for a two-run dinger in Seattle's 7-6 win over the Athletics Saturday evening. He also singled and walked, going 2-for-4 for the night.
Fantasy Implications: Cano has been in somewhat of a power outage of late. Since his last home run on July 22, the veteran second baseman had not hit a long ball in 35 games, and was slashing a middling .261/.310/.351, with only 12 RBIs in that span. For the year, Cano has a .273 AVG, 20 HR, 80 RBIs and 66 R, numbers that are respectable, but not what most fantasy owners drafting him had planned, considering last year's .298 AVG, 39 HR, 103 RBIs and 107 R.
