Robbie Gould knocked down both of his field-goal attempts, but missed one of four extra-point tries in the 49ers 41-39 loss to the Rams.
Fantasy Implications: Gould's field-goals from 36 and 48 yards makes him a perfect 6-for-6 from the field this season. His extra-point attempts were his first tried this year, being that San Francisco failed to score a touchdown in its first two contests. Unfortunately, Gould's missed extra-point attempt, following a Garrett Celek touchdown catch in the fourth quarter with 12:50 remaining, turned out to be costly. It forced the 49ers to go for a would-be game-tying two-point conversion after Carlos Hyde scored on a one yard plunge with 2:13 left in the game. The conversion failed on a Brian Hoyer incomplete pass to Trent Taylor. Still down by two points, Gould then executed a perfect onside kick that Raheem Mostert recovered at midfield. Gould's chance at redemption would end however, when the 49ers turned the ball over on downs, unable to get into field-goal range.
