Jarrod Dyson elected to have surgery to repair a groin injury, and will miss the rest of the season.
Fantasy Implications: On Monday, manager Scott Servais confirmed that Dyson did not make the team's trip to Texas, but opted to have surgery to repair a "core muscle injury." The procedure is considered minor, but nevertheless the 33-year-old outfielder will miss the remainder of the season. Dyson finishes the year after slashing .251/.324/.350 with five home runs, 30 RBIs, 56 runs scored and 28 stolen bases. A free agent after the season, Dyson has declared he will test the open market.
