Fantasy Implications: Diaz was summoned in the ninth inning to protect a 1-1 tie. After retiring the side on 10 pitches, he was credited with the win when Nelson Cruz hit a walk-off two run homer in the bottom of the frame. The 23-year-old fireballer has not allowed a run in nine of his last 10 appearances. Although his occasional control problems have been the main reason for his elevated 3.41 ERA, Diaz' 32 saves, 1.18 WHIP and 84 K's over 62 1/3 innings have provided fantasy owners much value throughout the 2017 campaign.

Erasmo Ramirez records a quality start
Erasmo Ramirez allowed one run on three hits while walking none and striking out 10 over eight innings in Seattle's 3-1 win over the Indians on Friday night. He did not factor into the decision.
Fantasy Implications: Ramirez pitched an absolute gem, but exited the game after throwing 105 pitches (70 for strikes) with the score tied 1-1. The ten strike outs were a season high for the 27-year-old right-hander. His only blemish of the game was a solo homer hit by Giovanny Urshela in the third inning. Ramirez has now delivered seven quality starts in his past eight outings. He and Mike Leake have proven to be the most reliable members of Seattle's rotation in the latter part of the 2017 campaign. Ramirez will take his respectable 4.35 ERA and 1.14 WHIP into Oakland on Wednesday for his next scheduled start against the Athletics.

Nelson Cruz finished the night 1-for-3 with a solo homer and a walk in Seattle's 4-2 loss to the Rangers on Thursday.
Fantasy Implications: The homer pushed Cruz' American League leading RBI total to 112, seven better than Jonathan Schoop's 105. It was his second long ball in as many games. In his last 17 games, the veteran designated hitter is batting a phenomenal .317/.431/.550 with four home runs, nine RBIs and 13 runs scored. Fantasy owners of Cruz can be none other than pleased with the multiple category contributions (.286 AVG, 35 HR, 84 R) he has provided them throughout the 2017 campaign.

Look for Cano to finish out the season on a high note.

James Paxton (12-5) was tagged with the loss after surrendering two runs on four hits and two walks over 3 2/3 innings in Seattle's 4-2 defeat to the Rangers on Thursday night. He struck out four.

In his two starts since being activated, the 28-year-old southpaw is 0-2, having yielded five earned-runs on eight hits and four walks over five innings. Aldrick Robinson with two catches in Week 3
Aldrick Robinson reeled in two catches on four targets for 23 yards in the 49ers 41-39 loss to the Rams on Thursday night.
Fantasy Implications: Aldrick was on the field for only 27 of San Francisco's 87 snap counts on offense, which actually exceeded the 22 he saw in the first two weeks of the 2017 campaign. He now has recorded a meager three receptions on six targets for the year. Needless to say, he is not a primary receiving option for the 49'ers at this time. Unless an injury occurs to one of the 49ers' starting wide receivers, Robinson offers relatively no fantasy value.
