Kyle Seager drove a Cole Hamels' fastball into the right-center field seats for a solo home run in Seattle's 5-3 loss to the Rangers on Monday. It was Seager's lone hit in four at-bats.
Fantasy Implications: Seager is now riding a modest eight-game hitting streak, albeit producing more than one hit in only one of those contests. He has slashed .300/.344/.733 with four home runs and five RBIs in that span. The 29-year-old third baseman's .255 AVG, 23 HR, 74 RBI and 61 RBI has certainly moved the fantasy needle in most settings. Imagine how much further if Seager were able to produce a string of multi-hit games, or hit some of his home runs with men on base.
